custom orders FAQ
what kind of custom orders do you offer?
We offer a variety of cake, frosting, and filling options that you can use to build your own cake or cupcakes flavors! We also offer buttercream decor, but do not work with fondant or offer novelty/sculpted cakes.

Additionally, we offer a variety of other treats including cookies, brownies, cheesecake bites, parfait shooters, cake truffles, and more! Create the dessert bar of your dreams with an assortment of sweet treats!
how can I place my custom order?
Please fill out our request form to inquire about a custom order, or stop by the bakery to inquire in person! We recommend reaching out at least 2 weeks in advance for custom orders, but if we can fit you in on shorter notice, we will!

do you offer smash cakes?
Yes! Our 'snack cake' size (4" round 2-layer) is perfect for smash cakes for first birthday parties or photo shoots. For parties, pair it with some cupcakes or a grazing board for your guests!

what about gender reveal treats?
Yes! For gender reveals, we can do a cake or cupcakes with a pink or blue vanilla frosting filling inside, or vanilla cake truffles with the filling colored pink or blue.

do you offer wedding cakes and desserts?
Yes! We offer small two-tiered cakes, single-tiered cakes (perfect if you just need a cutting cake for the happy couple!), cupcakes, and dessert bars.

what if I want a variety of things? can I order a cake, cupcakes, and dessert bar items all together in one order?
Yes! You do not have to choose between a cake, cupcakes, or a dessert bar for your event!

how much notice do you need for custom orders?
More notice is always better! Please note that we do tend to fully book up for Friday and Saturday pick-ups.
For our Signature Menu items (not decorated), we recommend reaching out at least 1 week in advance.

For custom orders (flavors and/or decor), we recommend reaching out at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance.
​For weddings, we recommend reaching out at least 1 to 3 months in advance.

do you require a deposit?
For orders that are placed more than two weeks prior to pick-up:

Orders with totals less than $75 are required to be paid in full to place the order, and are 50% refundable if the order is cancelled more than one week prior to pick-up.

Orders with totals more than $75 require a non-refundable 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due one week prior to pick-up. Deposits and balances will be collected via email invoice.​

Any orders placed within two weeks of pick-up must be paid in full at the time of ordering, regardless of the amount; orders are 50% refundable if cancelled more than one week prior to pick-up.

Any orders cancelled within one week of pick-up are nonrefundable.
​
do you offer delivery?
We offer delivery for wedding orders only, and have limited availability given that we are a small team. We recommend reaching out 3 to 6 months in advance if you require delivery.
Delivery fees start at $75, and are based on total mileage from our storefront.

If we cannot accommodate delivery for your wedding, we can usually accommodate a pick-up outside of our standard business hours, as long as this is discussed when booking the order. Pick-ups on Sundays or Mondays will incur an additional fee.
