meet the baker
Ellie Scalf has been baking regularly for her friends, family, and coworkers for years. She grew up in New Jersey and her earliest memories include her mom teaching her to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch (and sneaking a taste of vanilla extract because it smelled so good - spoiler alert, it does not taste good by itself!). Ellie graduated from Virginia Tech and moved to NC in 2014.
In 2021, she decided it was time to pursue her passion for baking and left her Corporate Banking job in order to open the little cake company. She loves sharing her desserts with people, and she hopes you'll enjoy her sweet treats as much as her friends and family do!
